Dead by Midnight (11PM Central) Hannah Fierman

A very interesting genre film will be making its world premiere at the Atlanta Film Festival this Saturday, April 14th: DEAD BY MIDNIGHT (11PM CENTRAL), an anthology starring Hannah Fierman (of V/H/S/ and its spin-off SiREN) and Erin Brown (formerly known as Misty Mundae).

Directed by Torey Haas, Eric Davis, Jay Holloway, Anissa Matlock, and Tony Reames, DEAD BY MIDNIGHT tells six tales of terror. The synopsis:

It’s Halloween at WKIZ when the malicious Mistress of Midnight (Brown) arrives to host her annual horror movie marathon ‘Dead By Midnight’. When the WKIZ staff begins disappearing only to turn up in the increasingly darker films, it’s up to line producer Candice Spelling (Fierman) to stop the Mistress before her final and most diabolical film goes to air.

That sounds like fun to me, and the trailer and retro, VHS cover style poster art, both of which can be seen below, enhance my interest in and anticipation for DEAD BY MIDNIGHT even further.

If I were attending the Atlanta Film Festival, I would be checking this screening out for sure. As it is, I’m just going to have to wait to hear what the reactions to it were like… I’m hoping to hear some distribution details before much longer, too.

Check out the marketing materials below to see if DEAD BY MIDNIGHT looks like something you’d like to watch. If you want to pick up a free ticket to the screening, you can do so at THIS LINK.
