Trailer shows what terror ensues when a Landmine Goes Click

In recent years, we've had several movies about people stuck in desperate situations - a man buried alive, a woman adrift in space, a man stuck with his hand crushed by a rock. Director Levan Bakhia made his feature debut with 247 F, which was about a group of people trapped in a sauna. His next film seems like a logical progression of this trend, as it's about a man who gets stuck standing on a landmine. Starting with that tense set-up, LANDMINE GOES CLICK then increases the thrills by adding human antagonists into the mix.

Starring Sterling Knight, Spencer Locke, Dean Geyer, and Kote Tolordava, LANDMINE GOES CLICK tells the following story:

Three American tourists are backpacking through the remote countryside of European Georgia when one of them steps on an armed landmine. But that seems to be a minor threat compared to the nightmarish happenings the rest of the afternoon will bring on. A psychopath takes advantage of the tourist's immobility and brutally assaults the woman he loves.

The film recently secured its London premiere at the upcoming Film4 Frightfest, where it's scheduled to show on Friday, August 28th.

It sounds very intriguing to me, and I like the looks of the trailer. I won't be able to attend Frightfest, but LANDMINE GOES CLICK has earned a place on my "To Watch" list.
