Tremors documentary Making Perfection to premiere on YouTube today

As we've previously reported, Arrow Video is bringing the 1990 creature feature classic TREMORS to 4K UHD this December ("on or around" December 15th) – and you can pre-order it HERE. Among the bonus features that will be included on this release is a 30 minute documentary called MAKING PERFECTION, a Universal Pictures production that will be

interviewing key cast and crew from the franchise (including Kevin Bacon, Michael Gross, Ariana Richards, Ron Underwood, Brent Maddock & S.S. Wilson, among many others) and revisiting the original locations.

If you're anxious to check out MAKING PERFECTION, you'll be glad to know you won't have to wait until December to see it. The documentary is set to debut on the official TREMORS YouTube channel today, October 9th, at 1PM Eastern time. A preview of the documentary can be seen above, and the full thing will soon be available to watch on YouTube at THIS LINK.

Here's the synopsis for TREMORS:

Good-ol’-boy handymen Val (Kevin Bacon) and Earl (Fred Ward) are sick of their dead-end jobs in one-horse desert town Perfection, Nevada (population: 14). Just as they’re about to escape Perfection forever, however, things start to get really weird: half-eaten corpses litter the road out of town; the phone lines stop working; and a plucky young scientist shows evidence of unusually strong seismic activity in the area. Something is coming for the citizens of Perfection… and it’s under the goddamn ground!

TREMORS is one my favorite films of all time, has been ever since I was a little kid renting it on VHS, so I will be watching this documentary for sure.

In addition to the 4K UHD release of the original film, there's also a new TREMORS movie coming out later this month. TREMORS: SHRIEKER ISLAND, the seventh film in the franchise, is getting a Blu-ray, DVD, VOD, and Digital release on October 20th. You can pre-order TREMORS: SHRIEKER ISLAND at THIS LINK, or pick up a collection of all 7 films HERE. Completists will also want to pick up the episodes of the TV series.
