“True Blood” star Sam Trammell signs on for dark fantasy flick White Rabbit

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Gradually it seems the stars of HBO’s hit vampire drama “True Blood” are making the jump to movies. Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgård are already seeing what the big screen has to offer and it seems Sam Trammell is the latest to try his hand at film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog Trammell has just signed on to star in the dark fantasy drama WHITE RABBIT, which will also star DESCENDANTS actor Nick Krause. Before I go on check out the rundown for this thing:

Rabbit is story of a bullied, high school teen, who begins having visions of a rabbit that he killed when he was nine years old. The rabbit, along with other imaginary characters, turn menacing in the hopes of pushing him over the edge and luring him into one last fatal act of revenge.

Sounds decent enough. Actually that shite sounds pretty damn twisted! I’m digging it! Krause (above right) will be playing the high school teen while Trammell (above left) steps in as his father. WHITE RABBIT has Tim McCann directing a script from Anthony Di Pietro. Robert Yocum of Burning Sky Films, Shaun Sanghani of SSS Entertainment and Jacky Morgan are producing.

WHITE RABBIT is set to start filming at the end of July in New Orleans so expect more on this one soon!
