Turbulent weather is a sign of things to come in new Prometheus clip

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

I really wanted to avoid looking at this new PROMETHEUS clip, just in the name of keeping things fresh when I make it a point to see it in theaters next month. Alas, I’m very weak person, and so I snuck a peak. Conclusion? Goddamn I want to be Idris Alba!

Seriously though, not much is spoiled in the new clip. Dubbed “port of entry”, we basically see Alba navigate the Prometheus spacecraft through some harsh weather, eventually entering some kind of extraterrestrial domain. You know crazy shite jumps off from there…

Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Patrick Wilson, Rafe Spall, Katie Dickie, Emun Elliot, Logan Marshall-Green, and Sean Harris also appear in the flick. Make a point to clock it when it opens June 8th.
