Two more stills from the Korean anthology Doomsday Book offer more robot action

Well ladies and gents the Fantasia International Film Festival is gearing up to kick-off a little later this month and one flick that will be making a stop there is the Korean anthology romp DOOMSDAY BOOK. To celebrate said occasion we’ve gone and scored two brand new stills from the flick!

Now these new shots aren’t anything worth writing home about but we are offered new looks at our robot friend that has popped up in every other DOOMSDAY BOOK photo. I can dig it. Just scroll away above and below to get a look at the new shots for yourself.

Coming from directors Kim Jee-Woon and Yim Pil-Sung and starring Kim Kang-Woo, Kim Gyu-Ri (below), Ryoo Seung-Bum, and Song Sae-Byeok, DOOMSDAY BOOK reads:

First Chapter (“Heaven’s Creation”) – A story about a robot who gains consciousness and the absurdity that follows.

Second Chapter (“The New Generation”) – A clever action film told from the point of view of a boy who has become a zombie, this segment explores how humans lose control of planet Earth, becoming mere food for a different species.

Third Chapter (“The Christmas Gift”) – A musical movie that re-interprets the beautiful love story “The Christmas Gift” by O Henry, this project confronts the basic instincts of a woman and her last chance to survive after witnessing the end of the world.

DOOMSDAY BOOK will be getting a wide release courtesy of Well Go USA later this year but before that it’ll be hitting the Fantasia International Film Festival, which runs from July 19th to August 7th.
