Universal’s Vigilandia keeps on casting, this time it’s Edwin Hodge

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Seems like it was only yesterday when it was announced that Adelaide Kane and Max Burkholder had joined Ethan Hawke and Lena Headey in Universal Pictures’ low-budget sci-fi thriller VIGILANDIA… Actually, it was yesterday. But the flick continues to cast, as Deadline is reporting that Edwin Hodge (pictured) has beed added to the James DeMonaco picture, which is being produced by Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse Productions.

Hodge has been acting since he was a kid, although chances are he’s still an unfamiliar name to most. He’s appeared in the will-it-ever-be-released? ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE and the will-it-ever-be-released? remake of RED DAWN. (Some bad luck there, Edwin.) He also has an extensive television filmography, including stints on “Heroes” and “The Mentalist”.

There are still no plot details available, although shooting will begin next week in Los Angeles.
