Vincent Guastini's V.G.P. Effects joins Blanc/Biehn's Hidden in the Woods

We've been keeping you updated on Blanc/Biehn Productions' remake of HIDDEN IN THE WOODS, which is set to begin filming July 1st in and around Houston, Texas, and today we have word that Vincent Guastini's V.G.P. Effects & Design Studio has signed on to handle the effects work.

HITW star Michael Biehn met Guastini when they briefly worked together on SUSHI GIRL and Biehn was so impressed with V.G.P.'s work that the producers asked Guastini to come on board and supervise with Evelyn Belmar and Vanessa Cartier.

Ana and Anny, two sisters who have been raised in isolation under the atrocity of drug dealing and the incestuous obsession of their grim father. When they, tired of the abuse, call the police, he kills two officers and is put in jail. Free from their father, the girls now will have to escape from Tío Costello, the local drug lord trying to recover a large amount of drugs hidden in the woods.
