Walking Dead goods: Rooker and Reedus join Walking Dead game; 2 new TV promos

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

With the mid-season finale of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” on the horizon, we’ve got two brief tidbits from the title to share with you today.

First of all, in case you weren’t aware, Activision and Terminal Reality are developing a video game based on the TV show and graphic novel series called “The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct”, and today brings the cool news that both Daryl Dixxon and Merle will be front and center in the game, and voiced by actors Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker, respectively. Naturally, you really couldn’t do it any other way, but it’s good to know that these two crucial pieces of the Walking Dead world will be playing their animated counterparts.

“The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct” will be something of a prequel to the TV series, following the Dixon brothers as they traverse a dangerous landscape filled with walkers, which will use sight, sound and smell to track the brothers. The title will hit PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2013.

Turning our attention to the series, there are two new international promos for the upcoming eighth episode, titled ‘Made to Suffer”, that you can watch below that allegedly contain MAJOR SPOILERS for the installment (the second preview, from China, in particular). To be honest, I’m not even going to watch them, but if you don’t mind learning a whole bunch about “Made to Suffer,” feel free to take a look.
