Walter Hill and Stallone deliver a Bullet To The Head trailer

We at Arrow in the Head have been beyond stoked for Sylvester Stallone and Walter Hill’s upcoming action movie, BULLET TO THE HEAD. Though Arrow favorite Tom Jane was unfortunately traded for up-and-comer Sung (FAST FIVE) Kang, the idea of Hill and Sly working together creates a buzz among us action fan boys that cannot not easily be deterred.

Now, we’ve finally been treated to a trailer for the film and let me say it does not disappoint. EXPENDABLES detractors listen good: all the shaky cam, stunt casting, and wink-wink fourth wall breaking you guys criticize seems to be absent from BULLET IN THE HEAD. What we have here is a hard boiled buddy-comedy that seems to unload bullets and fisticuffs as fast as it does snappy dialogue. Basically, it’s classic Walter Hill and just the thing Sly needs right now to offset the (admittedly fun) gimmickry of his EXPENDABLES franchise.

Based on a graphic novel, “Bullet to the Head” also tells the story of a New Orleans hitman (Stallone) and a New York City cop who form an alliance to bring down the killers of their respective partners.
