War Against War

Got a heads up the other day that Spielberg’s WAR OF THE WORLDS isn’t the only version of that project going. Timothy Hines is helming a remake for Pendragon Pictures.

What the hell’s the point you may be asking. I wondered that myself. The main difference between the two (outside of budget and star power) is that Hines’ project professes to be absolutely faithful to the source material, ala THE LORD OF THE RINGS. The Spielberg/Cruise version is a modern retelling.
