Last month Eric told us all about a new flick heading our way courtesy of Warner Bros. called THE WAITING. You guys remember that? No worries if you don’t, I’m about to catch you all up with today’s update!
You see the flick is described as a ‘teen thriller’ and according to Variety Warner Bros. have just tapped David Katzenberg with the task of directing this shindig! That’s not all. They’ve also handed the film off to Katzenberg’s production shingle KatzSmith, which he runs with partner Seth Grahame-Smith (right).
Story follows two young filmmakers who decide to create the illusion of a haunting on an unsuspecting neighbor. Pic will employ a combination of traditional narrative and found footage.
With a duo like Grahame-Smith and Katzenberg behind this one I could actually see myself giving it a shot. What says you guys? THE WAITING look like it’s something you’d be into?
