Wentworth Miller’s new script The Disappointments Room nabbed by Voltage & Killer

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Wentworth Miller, who you may associate with the RESIDENT EVIL flicks, has carved out quite the writing resume. His script STOKER is being made into a film by Chan-wook Park, and now it seems his new original story, THE DISAPPOINTMENTS ROOM, has been snatched up by Voltage Entertainment and Killer Films. Nicolas Chartier and Zev Foreman of Voltage will team with Killer’s Pamela Koffler and Christine Vachon are producing.

THE DISAPPOINTMENTS ROOM is a dramatic thriller about a woman who moves into a mysterious old house in the country with her husband and young son, only to discover their new home comes with a dark past.

The script is currently being sent out to directors. Who do you think should take a crack at it? A young gun or a salty old vet? Sounds like an age-old setup, hopefully Miller’s script has enough twists and turns to differentiate itself from the otherwise rote subgenre.

We’ll see…
