Werewolf news: Trailer, poster & release for Love Bite, new movie Moonrunners lights up

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

How about a two-pronged werewolf update…

Remember the British horror sex comedy LOVE BITE we’ve written about a number of times? You know, the one starring Jessica Szohr? Well, the sucker finally hits native theaters November 9th and now has a new trailer and quad-poster to ogle at. Once you do, you’ll see how dominant the comedic aspect of the flick will be. Oh those cheeky Brits!

From director Andy de Emmony, from a script by Cris Cole and Ronan Blaney:

High school is over and summer has begun in the dead-end seaside town of Rainmouth. While Jamie’s friends seem to be happy working in the local pie factory by day and looking for a shag by night, Jamie is bored out of his mind, running his pot-head mother’s B&B. He’s desperate to get out of there. But when he meets beautiful, smart and sexy American traveler Juliana at a party, he’s smitten – the world is not so small after all.

But soon after Juliana’s arrival, strange things start happening. One of the local teens goes missing at a party. Then, another. Jamie is warned by an enigmatic stranger that a werewolf is in town – and preying solely on virgin flesh! The only way to be safe seems to be to pop your cherry. (But that can’t be true… can it?)

As the locals are picked off one by one, the boys fear that a werewolf is indeed after them. And for all their talk, it turns out none of them have ever had sex before… Pretty soon, everyone is dying to get laid…

Moving on, we just caught wind of a new 13th century werewolf flick called MOONRUNNERS, from Boll World Sales (yes, Uwe Boll). We have some tacky promo art above to prove the flick is in development, as well as a basic outline. Check it…

From feature first timer Michael Massias – MOONRUNNERS places us in the:

Kingdom of France in the year of the Lord 1210. The Albigensian Crusade puts the south to fire and sword. Hunted by crusaders, a few heretics take refuge in a vast forest. They do not know yet the beasts roaming these woods are far more deadly than the Soldiers of God.

Lost in werewolves territory, crusaders and heretics become the prey of these bloody creatures. They have only one choice to survive: Forget their differences and form an alliance to fight the moonrunners.

Not too bad, ay? Sounds more like BROTHERHOOD OF THE WOLF than NEW MOON, something I think we can all appreciate.

LOVE BITE opens November 9th, stay tuned for more on MOONRUNNERS in months to come.

The Szohr!
