A familiar face in Prometheus after all?

WARNING SPOILERS:

The mucho anticipated premiere of Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS is right around the corner, but we keep hearing more news and speculation on the movie. As Crave found out recently, one familiar face we might see in the film is Lance Henriksen, who of course portrayed the android Bishop in ALIENS, as well as Charles Bishop Weyland in ALIEN VS PREDATOR. But it might not be in a way you expect.

Here’s what the actor himself had to say about his potential appearance in the flick:

“Somebody through the grapevine, I heard that they’re using a digital version of me to describe history. Very interesting, I can’t wait to see it. Neither can my manager.”

Huh. Whether Henriksen will return as Bishop or Weyland is still unknown at this point. Still, it’s yet another tidbit to get you even more stoked for the movie.

Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

PROMETHEUS lands June 8th, starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Patrick Wilson, Rafe Spall, Katie Dickie, Emun Elliot, Logan Marshall-Green, and Sean Harris.
