Zombie polar bears vs. a dog sled team in Cold Patrol!

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

With the American Film Market in full swing, we’ll start to see plenty of strange titles emerge – but none may be strangers than this. A zombie polar bear film called COLD PATROL.

Penned by Christopher Webster, COLD PATROL follows an elite military dog sled team uncovering a plot to release a dangerous new organism — while fending off zombie polar bears.

Read that synopsis again and imagine the possibilities. (Is it weird that I find the “elite dog sled team” part even funnier than the zombie polar bear bit?)

Resolution Independent is producing the film, with Nikolai Pigarev (METELETSA: WINTER OF THE DEAD) directing. Commencing in the spring, production will take place in the Baltic portion of the Arctic Circle at several Soviet era towns and military bases. Budget is between $6-$8 million.

Let’s consider this one of the true “must see” projects of the coming year.
