Kathy Bates and Michael Sheen join Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris

In an unusual move, Woody Allen actually fills us in on the details of his previously untitled upcoming film now being called MIDNIGHT IN PARIS.

Allen, not one to divulge information on his films before they’re complete, reveals that MIDNIGHT IN PARIS is “a romantic comedy about a family traveling to the French capital for business. The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better.”

Kathy Bates (“The Office”, THE BLIND SIDE) and Michael Sheen (TRON: LEGACY, NEW MOON) – along with Nina Arianda, Tom Hiddleston (“Loki” in THOR), Corey Stoll, Mimi Kennedy, and Kurt Fuller – join Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard, and Rachel McAdams. Also, First Lady of France Carla Bruni-Sarkozy’s participation has finally been confirmed. That’s some cast right there.

MIDNIGHT IN PARIS will begin filming this summer in, wouldn’t you know it, Paris! Allen’s YOU WILL MEET A TALL DARK STRANGER opens September 23rd.
