Warner Bros. and Leo’s Appian Way production company are planning a TWILIGHT ZONE film. There isn’t much of a plan beyond that, however — the studios are reportedly soliciting scripts and pitches based on anything from Rod Serling’s infinite bucket of twist endings.
WB and Leo want a single TWILIGHT ZONE tale rather than an anthology like the 1983 movie (“Wanna see something REALLY scary?”), which featured segments from George Miller, Steven Spielberg, John Landis and Joe Dante. Leo’s company is certainly proving its geek cred — they’re also developing the live-action AKIRA and a movie about the creator of Atari.
