Millie Bobby Brown busts a rhyme for a Stranger Things Season 1 recap

If there's one thing I know about comedian and late night show host Jimmy Fallon, it's that the SNL alum is always down to hear his guests bust a rhyme. In 2014, Fallon surrendered the stage to Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe, who went on to wow audiences with his rendition of Blackalicious' "Alphabet Aerobics" jam. The Boy Who Lived positively slayed the tongue twister raps, doing Blackalicious proud on all fronts.

Last night, as part of The Tonight Show's Halloween episode, Fallon invited STRANGER THINGS guest Millie Bobby Brown to the stage, where the young actress from The Upside Down spit a torrent of lyrics while recapping the events of the sci-fi horror show's premiere season. With rhythm and confidence, Brown began her words-worthy onslaught by rapping "Let’s go back to Indiana, circa Nineteen Eighty-Three / Just four boys in the basement chillin’ playin’ D&D / There was Lucas there was Willy Will and Dustin, there was Mike / But one night Will goes missing while he’s riding on his bike — yikes!” As Brown continued, the in-house crowd roared with delight, as the performance was certainly a delightful auditory Halloween treat.

You can witness Brown's STRANGER THINGS recap rap skills below:

As some of you may recall, this is not the first time that Brown has thrown down the gauntlet by way of her rapping on Fallon's late night program. In September of 2016, Brown stunned audience members with her near-perfect rendition of Nicki Minaj’s verse from Kanye West’s “Monster.” I still remember the day after that clip went live, and how my respect-o-meter for the up-and-coming actress sailed above and beyond my personal rating system's highest mark.

STRANGER THINGS Season 2 is now available to stream via Netflix.
