The Latest Announcements

Yeah, I know it's been awhile but cut me some slack. I was, uh, returning some videotapes.

I, Robot - December 14

I've made it no secret that I've long been a fan of Alex Proyas. Actually, I've never told anyone that, so I guess it is a secret. Okay, well I've made it no secret that I've long been a fan of slamming Will Smith and robots. I haven't seen this yet but I'm interested to see who comes out on top. Possibly, Jada? She kicks everyones ass.

Caption Me

Meet The Parents - December 14

I really focking hate when they slap together a special edition of a movie with some focking menial extras that no one really gives a fock about. Ooh, and just in focking time for MEET THE FOCKERS too. Fock, man.

  • De Niro Unplugged! - A deleted scene of Robert De Niro singing "Love is in the Air" at the wedding
  • Preparing to Meet the Fockers - The cast of Meet the Parents reveals the inside story of Greg and Pam's disaster-prone romance and the hilarious events leading up to the even more outrageous sequel
  • Silly Cat Tricks - The film's animal wrangler reveals how she trained Jinx the cat for his on-screen antics and shows viewers how to teach their own felines some wild and crazy tricks
  • The Truth About Lying - Do lie detectors tell all? A polygraph expert from the NBC series Meet My Folks reveals the eye-opening truth about detecting deception

See what I mean?

"Who's up for some focking football?"

Ju-On: The Grudge - November 9

Just in time for its state-side theatrical release, the original DVD comes packed with a commentary by Sam Raimi and Scott Spiegel, interviews, deleted scenes, behind the scenes footage, and the creepiest looking kid since the little rugrat from Jerry Maguire on the cover.

"Ms. Gellar, you're on the wrong Grudge set...about three thousand miles away from here."

Boy Meets World (S2) - November 23

The second season has finally been announced and Topanga's still a teenager but hey, it's legal in some countries. Extras include commentary with cast and crew, picture-in-picture video commentary with cast and crew and not much else.

Coffee & Cigarettes: Who knew my daily breakfast could be turned into a movie? Jim Jarmusch, that's who. 9/21

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: I've praised this way too much, so I'm gonna shut up now. Buy it...okay, that was the last time. 9/28

Easy Rider (SE): If you're old, you probably want to watch this and trade in your Jaguar for a motorcycle. It'll never happen though, gramps. 9/28

Footloose (SE): Indiana Sev swears by this. He told me its the greatest Kevin Bacon flick ever. I think he was lying. 9/28

I told my Mom not to show up at my prom but she did anyway. Damn.
