After The Sunset - March 29

I'm starting to think that Brett Ratner is the anti-christ, even moreso than Michael Bay. He's like Michael Bay 2.0 or something. But any man who can get the lovely latina below to lean over inside the hood of a car wearing a halter top is okay with me. Then again, Robert Rodriguez had her get it on with Antonio Banderas in Desperado so....Rodriguez wins. Ratner's still the anti-christ though.

Includes:

  • Audio Commentary with director Brett Ratner
  • "Before, During and After the Sunset" & "Interview with a Jewel Thief" documentaries
  • Blooper Reel
  • Deleted/Alternate Scenes with optional director commentary
  • Music Video
  • DVD-Rom Script to Screen

When Salma asked Pierce if she could look under his hood, he had something else in mind.

Stand By Me (SE) - March 22

Another damn good River Phoenix re-release. Is it a full moon or the anniversary of his death or something? Not that I'm complaining. Stand By Me led countless young dudes wandering railroad tracks in search of dead bodies. You can't do that in the city, you find mostly bums and dead rats. Anyway, it's about the journey, not the destination.

Includes:

  • "Walking the Tracks": The Summer of STAND BY ME - Featurette including interviews with Stephen King and Rob Reiner
  • Director Rob Reiner's Commentary
  • Stand By Me Music Video
  • Isolated Music Score
  • Bonus Trailers
  • CD Soundtrack Sampler
  • Exclusive Movie Collector's Book
  • Anamorphic Widescreen

Please buy this, Corey Feldman could use the encouragement.

Notables

Curb Your Enthusiasm (S3): Am I the only one who thinks this should've ended at season 2? Probably. But it's still one of the funniest shows on TV. 1/18

The Forgotten: I'm forgetting how good of an actress Julianne Moore is. I'll go watch Boogie Nights again. 1/18

Catwoman: One of the worst movies ever, starring one of the hottest women in ever. You gotta take the good with the bad, man. Or vice versa. 1/18

Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow: One of JoBlo's top ten flicks of the year. I'll take his word for it. 1/25
