In Good Company - June 7

I'm gonna tell you somehing, this wasn't such a bad flick. It was a safe, light and funny movie that took very little risks and patterned itself along the paint by numbers spectrum with clarity and predictability. And you know what? I still enjoyed it. See, I'm not such a cynic after all. Only when it comes to whether or not Scarlett Johanssen will ever strip on screen.

Lost (S1) - September 6

TVShowsonDVD.com is reporting the first season of everyone's new favorite show (aside from Deadwood) will be released September with rumored specs listed below. I've never seen the show so I don't have an opinion on it (like that's stopped me before!). All I know is there's a fat guy, a hobbit and a hot chick. Plane goes boom, trapped on an island and well, that's enough out of me.

May Include:

  • The original pilot
  • Behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the show
  • Audio commentaries
  • Blooper reel
  • Roundtable discussions with cast and crew
  • A Matthew Fox photography featurette
  • Deleted scenes
  • Casting tapes
  • New, original "mini-movie" that reveals why the plane crashed

  • On the main menu go to the 'Deleted Scenes' section and highlight 'Alternate Ending.' Press the 'Up' arrow key and a clock will be highlighted. Press 'Enter' you'll be treated to 10 minutes worth of ghost stories by candlelight from director Takashi Shimizu. Spoo-kay!

    Top Secret!:

  • On the Main Menu go to the 'Special Features' section and then to the 'Storyboards.' Once there, highlight the 'Special Features' menu at the bottom of the page and press the 'Right' arrow key on your remote control to highlight a magnifying glass around Peter Cushing’s eye. Press 'Enter' and you will get to see the original footage used to create the Swedish Bookstore scene – only this time it is not backwards!

Being Ron Jeremy: Ron Jeremy is quite possibly the coolest human ever. He slays mad women and looks like the dude who use to live next door that was a plumber. 3/15

The Incredibles: Awesome flick, Craig T. Nelson is back, baby. He's back. 3/15

Alfie: So is Jude Law, for the umpteenth time in a row. 3/15

Stand By Me (SE): Stay gold Pony Boy! Wait, that's not this movie is it? Buy this regardless. It's a necessity. 3/15

I'm telling you, Ron looks exactly like the plumber who use to live next door. You know the one.
