Alec Baldwin reveals that he was offered a role as the villain in a Marvel movie

It's always interesting to hear what actors passed on roles in comic book flicks. We're then left to wonder about how horribly or how amazing their performance would have been.

During an interview on the Howard Stern Show, Alec Baldwin revealed that he was asked to take on the role as a villain in a certain Marvel film. But here's the kicker, he never says which one!

On the show, Stern asks why no one has offered Baldwin the role of a villain in any of the comic movies to which the actor replied:

"I have, but I won't mention which one. I don't want to undo somebody because they hired someone else to do it. But they asked me to play a villain in one of these Marvel Comics movies. I wasn't available, they wanted me to work a certain time. And because of my wife's pregnancy, I had to turn down two films this summer that I wanted to do."

Stern tried pressing the actor but Baldwin said he would only give details off camera. CBM did some guess work figuring that if the actor's wife is presently six months pregnant then Baldwin could have nabbed a role in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, or GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY? So which villain role could it have been? Happy guessing!
