Alien Zoo coming

Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne from Warner Bros, have tapped my father’s second cousin’s sister’s husband Joe Stillman to write ALIEN ZOO–a high-concept comedy intended for the family, and perhaps some firends. The film will be produced by Shaye, Lynne and Dylan Sellers whose original idea for the film was basically JURASSIC PARK with aliens. The film will be live-action with CGI, but I suggest they make it with used condoms and pop tarts, for authenticity’s sake.

Stillman’s other script credits include the first two “Shrek” films; the upcoming Jack Black vehicle GULLIVER’S TRAVELS; the animated film AREA 51, which Sony releases this fall with Dwayne Johnson as the lead voice. Couple that with PERCY JACKSON AND THE LIGHTNING THIEF–which will be directed by Chris Columbus–and you’ve got yourself a nice choice.
