Andrew Garfield is swinging by SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE this weekend to promote THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 and will have big shoes to fill as his co-star, Emma Stone, knocked it out of the park when she guest hosted a little while back. But, Garfield should be no stranger to comedy having truly embraced the sarcastic side of Peter Parker in the latest webslinger movie.
As each host is required to do, Garfield recorded a series of brief promos for his appearance on the iconic sketch show alongside cast-member Bobby Moynihan. The results range from broad comedy to mocking his dramatic acting skills. Hell, by the end of the montage of promos, even Garfield and Moynihan cannot keep a straight face. SNL is pretty hit or miss, so I would expect them to make several sketches out of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, but hopefully they make me chuckle as much as this video.
THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 hits theaters this Friday, May 2nd. SNL with Andrew Garfield airs the following night.
