Aside from the expected evil possession and twanged accents, no story details have congealed (the original was supposedly based on true events). However, the movie will be directed by horror regular Ti West (THE ROOST, upcoming CABIN FEVER 2).
Lionsgate may distribute the sequel, as they are seeking another genre franchise to replace the seemingly endless SAW series.
