Ben Stiller opens up in the trailier for Noah Baumbach’s While We’re Young

From writer/director Noah Maumbach (FRANCES HA, GREENBURG) comes a story about a middle-aged couple (BEN STILLER and NAOMI WATTS respectively) who come across a couple in their twenty-somethings that brings them to question their lifestyle. If you're familiar with Baumbach's work, WHILE WE'RE YOUNG will feel right at home. For those unfamiliar, a trailer is here to show you just how cool Ben Stiller isn't.

Generational gaps have always proved daunting to cross when trying to connect to those out of our age range, but you may be surprised to hear that while this concept seems right up Noah Baumbach's alley, the film is apparently a lot funnier than the trailer leads on. You can check out Chris Bumbray's review of the film from TIFF here, but it sounds like it's one of Stiller's funniest roles in years. If anyone deserves to be put back on the comedic map, it's him.
