Best Movie & TV Trailers of the Week! Frozen 2, Veronica Mars and more!

Here we are wtih another addition of the best new trailers of the week! The crop of this week's preview drops include the second trailer for FROZEN 2 with Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel returning as the coolest pair of sisters this side of the fairy tale forest! We also got the very first trailer for DOCTOR SLEEP, Stephen King's sequel to THE SHINING starring Ewan McGregor as Jack Torrance's now grown up son and I gotta say, this thing looks pretty freakin sweet! In the world of TV, we were blessed with a holy heaping load of bad ass trailers that remind me again of why I usually stay home for my viewing entertainment! I'm talking about Hulu's resurrection of Veronica Mars starring the still-so-gorgeous-at-38 Kristen Bell, reprising her iconic, star-making role! I was a fan of the original series (have yet to see the movie) and it looks like the creators haven't lost a step! Also worthy of mention is EPIX's PENNIWORTH series which shows the adventures and escapades of Alfred before he became Batman's butler. I'm a big fan of these "prequel-type" series for the creativity and nostalgia factors, and hope there is more on the way!

That's a healthy amount of enjoyment right there, but my choice for most anticipated has to go to DOCTOR SLEEP because 1. Writer/Director Mike Flanagan cut his teeth on OCULUS, 2016's HUSH, and Netflix's THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE, 2. Stephen King, and 3. Ewan McGregor kicks ass at playing older or younger characters from previous films (Obi-Wan, Christopher Robin)! Now, go pour yourselves a glass of red rum and comment below which flicks and shows you are looking forward to most!
