Bruce Lee fun park

He kicks, he punches, he spins in his grave. Bruce Lee, one of pop culture’s coolest, most influential icons, will be immortalized in… a theme park.

Yes, Dragon fans, it’s true… and only slightly more weird and questionable than the live-action “resurrection” movie with completely CGI Bruce that they’ve been threatening to make for years. The city of Shunde, China (birthplace of Lee’s father and grandfather) will be the site for this proposed Bruce Lee park, first announced several months ago. Now a few more details are trickling forth like blood from Lee’s inhuman physique in ENTER THE DRAGON: the “amusement” park is scheduled to open in 2009 and will feature a memorial to the legend, a martial arts academy, and Bruce Lee “droids” that patrol the park. Plus a roller coaster that blares sound bytes from Lee’s movies. Whoo-PAH!

For those who just entered our dimensional space , Bruce Lee is often considered the greatest martial artist in history. He developed a unique fighting style called Jeet Kune Do and counted Steve McQueen, James Coburn and Chuck Norris among his students. Lee starred as Kato in the 1960s “Green Hornet” TV series and moved on to several feature films before his untimely death at age 32. Whoo-PAH!
