Bruno Fashionably Late

It appears as though we, the viewing public, will have to wait a few extra months to watch, as Sasha Baron Cohen instigates, irritates, and humiliates the unsuspecting public in his highly anticipated tale of the mesh messiah BRUNO.

Universal has decided to push the film from its original highly trafficked May 15th release date, to the much quieter, lower profile July 10th release date. The studio made the move upon learning that Roland Emmerich’s highly anticipated end-of-the-world epic 2012 has been pushed back to November 13th. Instead of competing against the regular slew of May tentpoles, it appears as though BRUNO’s only competition will be Chris Columbus’ I LOVE YOU BETTY COOPER. Something tells me Sasha and company have nothing to worry about. Just a hunch.
