Hey Jack, whatcha lookin’ at up there in this poster for PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES? Is there a giant tigereagle in the sky? Are there some inspirational notes written in the clouds?
This poster follows the banner from last week which also had a solo Jack Sparrow on it. I like me some Johnny Depp, but what about Ian McShane or Penelope Cruz? Maybe this is the beginning of a roll out of character posters. I don’t like this poster as much as the banner, even though they are quite similar in my opinion. Notice the mermaids hanging out on the left side and whatever the fuck that is on the right in the water. Is it a mermaid ghost?
