One of the better films of the summer hits Blu-ray/DVD today, and that's X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST! I think it's safe to say that Quicksilver was the most welcome surprise of that flick, and for those of you picking up the Blu-ray, you'll be happy to see a nifty feature on how they went about shooting his moment in the spotlight (you can order the movie here).

Here's a tiny peek at the work that went into it:

This year has actually been a pretty great year for Marvel properties (SPIDER-MAN aside), as THE WINTER SOLDIER, DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY have given us a trio of different but fun comic book flicks. With all the buzz about where Marvel may be going for CAPTAIN AMERICA 3 and beyond, it's hard not to get excited about the future of Marvel movies. Bryan Singer has promised some large-scale destruction when it comes time for APOCALYPSE, and I can't wait for Quicksilver to be a part of that madness!

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is now on Blu-ray/DVD!
