Netflix has debuted a new poster for EXTRACTION, the upcoming action drama starring Chris Hemsworth (AVENGERS: ENDGAME, CABIN IN THE WOODS). For the new print, Hemsworth appears to be contemplating the cost of combat before rushing into action as the film's lead character, Tyler Rake.

The story revolves around Rake, a fearless black market mercenary, who embarks on the most deadly extraction of his career when he's enlisted to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord.

Directing EXTRACTION is ATOMIC BLONDE stunt coordinator Sam Hargrave, who will shoot from a script penned by MCU alum Joe Russo. In addition to writing the screenplay, Russo will also co-produce alongside his brother, Anthony Russo, as well as Chris Hemsworth, Mike Larocca, and Eric Gitter.

Joining Hemsworth for the action-heavy setup are stars David Harbour (Netflix's STRANGER THINGS, BLACK WIDOW), Golshifteh Farahani (BODY OF LIES, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES), and Derek Luke (ANTWONE FISHER, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER).

Despite there being no official trailer for the film as of yet, EXTRACTION is set to launch on Netflix come April 24, 2020. In the meantime, why not check out the new poster? I'm sure it will be a real treat for those of you who prefer your Hemsworth to be looking rather bearded and brawny. Enjoy.
