Not that we need a reminder, but GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 opens in theaters in about 6 weeks' time and will reunite audiences with Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Groot and . . . Star Munch? Chris Pratt's character gets a new nickname courtesy of Bradley Cooper's Rocket in this new TV spot for one of the most anticipated Marvel sequels of all time!
Marvel films already have a built-in fanbase, but the original GUARDIANS was able to bring in audiences outside of that spectrum. I'd wager that fans of the original film will be first in line to check out VOL. 2, but these kinds of previews are necessary to remind the layman that their favorite characters are coming back. It doesn't look as if marketing has spoiled much of the film, so I'm just as excited with this preview as I was with the first trailer. Bring on the Guardians!
