I really like this snazzy new poster for Antoine Fuqua‘s THE EQUALIZER. To be honest, I was expecting the new poster to just have a giant picture of Denzel Washington‘s face with the title of the movie, but I’m glad we got this very cool looking poster instead. Simple, but effective, and pretty awesome in my opinion.

Screen tests for THE EQUALIZER have been so successful a sequel is already in the works, and I’m quite excited to check out Antoine Fuqua‘s big screen version of the 80s television series. The film will follow Denzel Washington‘s Robert McCall, “a former black ops commando who faked his death for a quiet life in Boston. He comes out of his retirement to rescue a young girl, Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), and finds himself face to face with Russian gangsters.”
THE EQUALIZER also stars Melissa Leo, Marton Csokas, and Vladimir Kulich, and will open on September 26th, 2014.
