If it’s the end of the world as we know it, then I’d feel fine knowing this was the last compilation video I saw. Just the video, not necessarily all the movies it’s made up of.
My favorite video masher, Kees van Dijkhuizen Jr. has done it again with his look back with “Cinema 2012”. He captures some of the most beautiful scenes in film, and greatly pairs them with pieces of music. As I said before, there was a good amount of crap this past year, but somehow you can look past all that with this single video. Everything is here from CLOUD ATLAS to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES to 21 JUMP STREET, it’s got a little something for everyone.
