As if unfriending people on Facebook wasn't scary enough, here comes a horror film that's going to take awkward social network interaction to a whole new level! UNFRIENDED follows six high school friends over a Skype session as they receive a message from a classmate who killed herself exactly one year ago. While they initially dismiss it as a prank, the girl starts revealing the friends' darkest secrets and unleashing something otherworldy.

I actually kinda dig the premise for this one. I'm not too sure how watching the Skype session will play out, but I rather like the angle regarding cyber-abuse leading a girl to commit suicide and returning to exact some vengeance. I suppose it was only a matter of time before a horror film had something to say about cyberbullying, but maybe this will give cyberbullies a thing or two to think about, lest they want to experience revenge from beyond the grave!

UNFRIENDED will be released on April 17.
