Daddy's Home trailer reunites Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg

There's no denying the chemistry Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg had in THE OTHER GUYS, so it was only a matter of time before they embarked on another cinematic adventure. Enter DADDY'S HOME. The story will follow that of a mild-mannered radio executive (Ferrell) who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children. Complications ensue when their freewheeling and freeloading real father (Wahlberg) arrives, forcing him to compete for the affection of the kids. Will a cheerleader take a basketball to the face? You betcha!

While this doesn't seem to have the laugh-out-loud moments like your Adam McKay flicks, directors Sean Anders and John Morris (HORRIBLE BOSSES 2) at least got the casting right. I'm really hoping to see an R-rating slapped on this thing but judging from the trailer, that doesn't seem like it will be the case. There's always hope for a red-band trailer down the road, right?

DADDY'S HOME is scheduled to hit theaters sometime in 2015.
