Getting to wield a lightsaber in a STAR WARS film would be a dream come true for, well, almost everyone, and Daisy Ridley is fortunate enough to be one of the few able to live out that dream. But in order to avoid aimlessly lopping off a limb, the holder of that lightsaber must go through a great deal of fight training. With just two weeks to go until the release of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, we're sure to witness all manner of lightsaber action as Rey (Daisy Ridley) trains with Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and faces off against handfuls of baddies. A new featurette, seen above, for the upcoming film puts the spotlight on Ridley's lightsaber training, as well as getting to see John Boyega, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, and Kelly Marie Tran sharpen their battle skills.
Nothing much is revealed in terms of new footage from the movie, but it was interesting to see Daisy Ridley square off against multiple assailants early on in the featurette. Perhaps a showdown with the Knights of Ren?
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI will hit theaters on December 15th.
