Danger returns in this trailer for Lost In Space Season Two

For those who celebrate Christmas, there's a tradition that some families follow. On the night before Christmas everyone in the household gets to open one present. Well for those of you who are fans of Netflix's Lost in Space, the streaming giant has the perfect gift to open on Christmas Eve and it isn't a pair of socks. Nope. In just nineteen short days fans will get to watch the entire second season of Lost In Space when it airs December 24. In anticipation of the upcoming adventures of the Robinson family, Netflix dropped a sweet new trailer which you can check out above.

Based on the 1965 television show of the same name (which in turn was based on the Johann David Wyss novel The Swiss Family Robinson) the second season of Lost In Space will find the Robinson family encountering even more danger in the depths of the cosmos. Here's a synopsis of the second season:

There’s more danger — and adventure — ahead for the Robinson family! With the Jupiter 2 stranded on a mysterious ocean planet without their beloved Robot, the Robinsons must work together, alongside the mischievous and manipulative Dr. Smith and the always charming Don West, to make it back to the Resolute and reunite with the other colonists. But they quickly find all is not as it seems. A series of incredible new threats and unexpected discoveries emerge as they look for the key to finding Robot and safe passage to Alpha Centauri. They will stop at nothing to keep their family safe… survival is a Robinson specialty after all.

Lost In Space stars Parker Posey, Molly Parker, Toby Stephens, Maxwell Jenkins, Taylor Russell, Mina Sundwall, and Ignacio Serricchio. All ten sixty minute episodes blast into your Christmas stocking December 24.
