Diane Lane and Jason Bateman join Liam Neeson in Watergate drama, Felt

Mark Felt, better known as Deep Throat, will be the focus of an upcoming spy thriller by the name of FELT. The FBI Associate Director provided information about the involvement of President Richard Nixon's administration in covering up a break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters in the Watergate office complex, better known as the Watergate scandal. Laim Neeson has signed on to play the lead and now two more key roles have been filled.

Diane Lane (MAN OF STEEL) and Jason Bateman (HORRIBLE BOSSES) have joined FELT, with Lane taking on the role of Felt’s brilliant, ambitious, and troubled wife, Audrey as she "shoulders the burden of Felt’s isolated and dangerous struggle against the White House." Jason Bateman will play Felt's FBI lieutenant, Charlie Bates, who discovers that Felt is leaking classified information on the Watergate investigation, and is conflicted about whether to destroy his mentor or protect him.

Peter Landesman (CONCUSSION) is set to direct the film from his own script and principal photography on FELT is set to begin in March 2016.
