Director Ana Lily Amirpour's crazy new film The Bad Batch releases posters

I'm tentatively excited about the new film from the female Iranian director Ana Lily Amirpour, THE BAD BATCH. I loved her previous film, the arthouse vampire flick A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT, and the new film looks bonkers and visually arresting. It also stars Jason Momoa and Keanu Reeves (as a cult leader, no less), and seems like a fusion between SPRINGBREAKERS and MAD MAX. Now I'm not the biggest fan of the "woman has to be beaten down by men before becoming self-actualized" genre of action films, but with Amirpour behind the wheel, I'm more than willing to give it a chance.

On top of that, there are now a few new character posters for the aforementioned Momoa and Reeves, as well as newcomer Suki Waterhouse as main character Arlen. Let's take a look:

And here's the official synopsis:

The highly anticipated follow-up to Amirpour’s acclaimed directorial debut, A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT, THE BAD BATCH follows Arlen (Waterhouse) as she is unceremoniously dumped in a Texas wasteland fenced off from civilized society. While trying to orient her unforgiving environment, she is captured by a savage band of cannibals and quickly realizes she'll have to fight her way through her new reality. As Arlen adjusts to life in 'the bad batch' she discovers that being good or bad mostly depends on who you're standing next to. Suki Waterhouse, Jason Momoa, Giovanni Ribisi, and Keanu Reeves star. THE BAD BATCH was produced by Annapurna Pictures and VICE Media.

So what about you guys? You down for this crazy shit as well? Either way, sound off below!

Meanwhile, you can see THE BAD BATCH in theaters June 23rd, 2017.

Extra Tidbit: I always love me some bad guy Keanu Reeves.
