Disney is giving you the chance to encounter Kylo Ren at their theme parks

Kylo Ren will begin making appearances at the Disney theme parks next month, allowing you and your party to come face-to-face with the latest villain in the series on the bridge of his First Order Star Destroyer.

In the past, Disney has provided the chance for fans to meet some of their STAR WARS favorites, particularly during STAR WARS Weekends, where cast members dressed as some familiar characters from the Saga were brought out to take pictures and sign autographs.

As of late though, a much more interactive experience has been started with the creation of the STAR WARS Launch Bay. In both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you have had the chance to meet and greet both Darth Vader and Chewbacca as well as encounter Jawas and First Order Stormtroopers. With the success of THE FORCE AWAKENS, Kylo Ren is being added into the mix, and I get the feeling a number of you might be on-board trying to make this encounter happen.

From the sounds of it, he may be taking Lord Vader’s spot in the attraction, allowing the redeemed Sith to handle other more important matters, like staying dead and Force ghosting.

You never know how cool it is to interact with a completely fictional character until they’re standing in front of you in the flesh, fantasy becomes reality and your inner geek gets to come out squealing with fandom over the blending of two worlds. But it’s those types of moments that Disney has made a fortune on in the past, giving people a chance to meet their favorite characters from their favorite films and regardless of whether it’s real or not, it doesn’t change the awesomeness of the moment when you let yourself get caught up in it.
