BABY DRIVER will follow a talented, young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) who relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. After being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom. Edgar Wright‘s (THE WORLD’S END, SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD) latest feature is said to rely heavily on music, more so than his previous directorial efforts, and the man took to Twitter today to release a banner, of which you can see above (click to embiggen).
The banner doesn’t reveal much, except for perhaps the light-hearted nature in which this adventure will take place. Given that we never got the chance to see Wright’s ANT-MAN, I know fans are itching to see more from such a stylish director. BABY DRIVER doesn’t seem to have a lot of meat on it, but even if that’s the case, it sounds like it’s going to be a fun ride!
BABY DRIVER will open in theaters on August 11, 2017.
