Elm Street doc

Hello Freddy

While Warner is getting ready to exploit reboot the Freddy Krueger saga on April 30th, fans of the original franchise will be given a chance to revisit the films they loved and the people who crafted them.

The folks behind last year's HIS NAME WAS JASON documentary are doing it again with NEVER SLEEP AGAIN: THE ELM STREET LEGACY. Hosted by franchise star Heather Langenkamp, who if memory serves headlined the first three and came back for NEW NIGHTMARE, the DVD will join the documentary with 4 hours of bonus material packed on 2 discs. Unknown what the exact content will be, but apparently extras are what made the Jason doc worth getting, so chances are Freddy will be well served too.

The DVD release should happen somewhere in 2010, presumably around the time Jackie Earl Haley will be grinning sadistically on the big screen. In the mean time, here's a teaser trailer that doesn't show much but who cares, it's free.

Extra Tidbit: Haley looks badass in the new FOX show "Human Target". Better watch quickly, before FOX cancels it. Not that they have a habit of killing good shows... *cough*
