Emma Stone is set to star in Cameron Crowe’s next film

This could be the makings of something great.

Sony apparently just nabbed themselves Cameron Crowe’s next untitled romance. The best part of the deal is that Emma Stone is set to star. Emma will have a male counterpart, but they have not found their Mr. Right just yet.

There are currently no plot details on this one. The only thing we know is that the tone of the film will be similar to that of “ALMOST FAMOUS and JERRY MAGUIRE”. I don’t know what they are trying to say with that. Those films have two different tones, at least in my opinion.

I have yet to be disappointed in a Crowe film. As I’ve stated before, I love ELIZABETHTOWN. It took me a couple of viewings to understand why I enjoy it so much. There’s also a lot there on a personal level for me. While I’m not head over heels in love with the acting, the story and script are quite enduring.

I can’t wait to get more details on this. Crowe usually takes a good break between films (about 4 years). The more the merrier.
