Escape Room: Tournament of Champions Interview: Logan Miller & Holland Roden

Escape Room was a surprise hit back in January 2019, grossing a massive $155.7 million worldwide from a tiny $9 million budget. Folks love escape rooms, and the movie struck a fun chord with audiences, so coming back for a sequel was a no-brainer. ESCAPE ROOM: TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS picks up right where the original left off, with survivors Zoey (Taylor Russell) and Ben (Logan Miller) having survived their ordeal and trying to find the truth about the company behind the escape rooms, Minos.

Of course, I'm not spoiling much by revealing that Zoey and Ben both wind up in yet another escape room, but the twist here is that they've been put in a room with fellow survivors, making this a "best of the best" kind of situation. So who will live and who will die? You'll have to watch Escape Room: Tournament of Champions to find out, but in the meantime, we spoke to two of the stars of the film - Logan Miller and Holland Roden!

In our exclusive interview, Miller discussed his character's evolution from the first film, with him more of a heroic character this time out, while Roden discussed one key advantage her character has that no one else does. The two also described the physical challenges of making a movie like this - and overall, I gotta say, this is a fun little ninety-minute flick.

Our own JimmyO, who'll be reviewing the film, actually got to try out one of the Escape Rooms at the premiere. Check out some of his images below!

You can expect our full review for Escape Room: Tournament of Champions tomorrow. The film opens tonight, with early screenings in some markets starting at 5p.
