Excellent! The script for Bill & Ted 3 is finished and ready to read

For those of you who are excited about the reunion of “Ted” Theodore Logan and Bill S. Preston, Esquire will be happy to hear this news.

According to Alex Winter, the script for the third installment is done. Winter tweeted this in response to a question from @antmaurizio:

“@antmaurizio: Bill and Ted 3, less than 6 weeks away and counting? Movie is gonna kick some ass.” > Just got the script. And now to read…

Then as I was writing, I noticed Winter updated with a new tweet:

“@Wm_Sadler: “Best two out of three?!!”” > hah! :)”

That tweet was directed to William Sadler, who played Death in BILL & TED’S BOGUS JOURNEY. Does this mean that Sadler could possibly make an appearance? Sadly, since George Carlin passed away in 2008 he will not be able to reprise his role as Rufus.

Last we heard the plot of the third BILL & TED film is as follows:

When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn’t happened… So they’ve now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there’s an element of time and they have to go back.”
