Exclusive Interview: Edgar Wright talks The World’s End

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Edgar Wright sure can talk. As you’ll see in the video below, the director of SHAUN OF THE DEAD, HOT FUZZ and now THE WORLD’S END is able to go off and let his steam-of-consciousness take him where it may. Not that I’m complaining, mind. If I could, I’d sit and talk movies with Wright all day long; however, I was only afforded a mere five minutes. Not nearly a long enough sitdown with one of my favorite directors working today.

But if five minutes it must be, then we’ll spend it talking about Wright’s latest genre comedy, which focuses on a reunion of old friends, the joys of beer and alien-robots. Also: we talk potential sequels to his “Cornetto Trilogy.” Sort of.
