Gal Gadot says our superpower is staying at home in new Instagram message

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

As many of us all over the world are being encouraged to stay in our homes to prevent the spread of COVID-19, WONDER WOMAN actress Gal Gadot wants us to know she's right there with us and is taking this moment to chill and stay inside.

The actress posted an image of herself on her official Instagram page where she's giving the peace sign and lounging around just like the rest of us (I don't own the cheetah slippers she's wearing but I'll leave that footwear to the pros). Gadot captioned the image with "Staying home is my super power and urs! Please every1 take care of yourself, ur loved ones and us all. The sooner we all stay home and keep ourselves from catching this Very contagious virus the sooner we can go back to our lives. #WeAreAllOne." The full image and caption can be seen below.

Gal Gadot's post comes as the release of WONDER WOMAN 1984 could be in question due to pretty much every wide release being postponed indefinitely beginning this weekend through April. AMC, Regal, and many other theaters are also closing their doors for the foreseeable future so even though the highly-anticipated sequel opens down the line on June 5, it may fall victim to having to abandon its release date as well.  Another comic book film, BLACK WIDOW, is still currently dated for May 1 but I wouldn't be surprised if that postponement announcement comes very soon.

Wanted to try to post a little bit of levity today and Gal Gadot slumming it like the rest of us during these times kind of puts a face on the fact that we've all had to make changes and we're all kind of in this together. I also think it's important for celebrities, especially those with a large following, to really encourage social distancing because they definitely have the reach to connect with a lot of people all over the world.

WONDER WOMAN 1984, which also stars Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright & Ravi Patel, is expected to hit screens on June 5, 2020, if we're lucky. Do YOU think WONDER WOMAN 1984 will keep its release date or is it on the move as well?
